About NLP

Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is a powerful set of tools and techniques that can help you bring about positive, lasting, changes in your life.

It was developed in the early 1970s (and has been developing ever since) by a linguist, John Grinder, and a mathematician, Richard Bandler. They studied individuals who were excellent communicators and masters of personal change. They began by modelling world-class therapists and moved onto others including sales people, leaders, presenters and trainers. They identified and codified ‘the difference that makes the difference’. Alongside this, they developed a set of tools and techniques to help you deal with unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviours.

One of the key principles of NLP is the belief that you’ve got the power within you to change – and sometimes you just need help recognising and unlocking this. With NLP you can learn how to be in charge of your mental and physical state to achieve the results you want.

It is widely used in business, by top sportspeople as well as individuals wanting to make the most of life.

NLP explores the relationship between how we think (‘neuro’), communicate (‘linguistic’) and act (our patterns of behaviour and emotion or ‘programmes’). By studying and learning from these relationships we can effectively transform the way we communicate with ourselves and others, and the ways we act, so that we adopt new and far more successful models of excellence. If you keep on doing what you’ve always done—you’ll keep on getting the same results. If you want different results—it’s time to change what you’re doing now.

A wide variety of issues can be resolved with NLP including unwanted habits and behaviours, fears and phobias, panic attacks and anxiety, stress, insomnia, health and weight issues.

Imagine, just for a moment, how good it will be to say goodbye, forever, to whatever is currently stopping you from getting the results you want. Then contact us to begin.
